I agree strongly, but only if shore power is available. On a mooring, dehumidification is too power-hungry.And while ventilation is good, a small dehumidifier is better...
Also, if you dehumidify, it is best to seal up the boat and prevent exterior ventilation, so you're not replenishing with humid outside air. But have fans blowing around the boat internally.
