We have a 1976 shoal draft, modified full-keel Morgan 30 Out Islander and love it. It''s great for coastal cruising, particularly around the Gulf of Mexico, where it''s shallow. It''s not fast, but it''s tremendously seaworthy and forgiving. We did a refit of the boat and have discovered they''re bullet-proof....VERY well made. If speed is what you''re after, this isn''t your boat. If comfortable, seakindly cruising on a solid boat is what you''re looking for, you can''t do better.
