Hi,
We have been looking at morgan 382's but recently came across a 1970 charlie morgan 38 which has a centerboard. We plan on mainly using the boat for coastal cruising and on down to the bahamas and carribbean. But eventually we would like to make a few ocean crossings(i.e. to the south pacific). The centerboard is what primarily concerns me. I know the 382's handle well in rough weather and passages, but not sure how the cm 38's do. Would the centerboard be a problem in rough weather? Does anyone have experience with the CM38's?
Thanks.
