Boats, boats, and more boats. Started out with a 17 foot aluminum Grumman canoe. Graduated up to an 18 foot Wenonah canoe. Bought a 20 foot Windrose sailboat. While visiting in Oak Harbor Washington, decided to buy a 27 foot Catalina four years ago. Now just got a 35 foot Hunter. (circa 1984). So now have a total of seven boats in the family counting the two inflatable dinghies. Lotta freeboard on the Hunter so it's gonna take some getting used to. Wife has not been real thrilled with me spending five months a year in the PNW. And now she has the audacity to say that I've got too many boats. Is there really such a thing as: "too many boats"?

Terry,

It could be worse. Right now I own or are partners in 13 different boats, and am seriously considering buying either an A-Cat or a VX-OD... I think I may have a problem.

My only defense is that I use them all.

Why isn't the wife in the PNW with you? You may need to see a boat therapist.
