Going through some sails that i have, and one of them says (mule sail) on it. Checked the net and if im reading correctly(sail for light wind, and good speed)? Do ya run it just like jib or genoa?....thx George.

How exciting; I am currently daydreaming about a mule sail for my boat.

On a ketch, a mule is flown in the upper triangle between the masts, above the main backstay. It's used for close reaching in light winds. I haven't heard the term used for any other sail.
