MedSailor,
So I am tackling the rats nest wiring behind my electrical panel and found this object which is the size of a hockey puck, about the same weight as well, with 6 wires coming out, two black, two red, one yellow and one brown. It was silicone attached to the wall but not connected to anything. there is continuity between the black and red on each set and for an instant, maybe a split second, continuity between the yellow and brown... not sure what that means? Capacitance?
Anyway,,, even a guess is a start... no marks or writing anywhere...I have no idea what it is or what it is for... can anyone clue me in?
More info please where was it located from the picture I'm thinking some kind of charge controller voltage regulator unit also what does the other side look like may be a rectifier as well
