For starters, Google "sail far live free" as there is a good write up on your boat.
Also, there is standing rigging and running rigging. The standing is that which holds up the mast, back stay, fore stay, upper shrouds and lower shrouds.
Running rigging are the lines that control the sails including halyards, sheets and control lines. Look for a generic illustration of a rigged sail boat and then ask specific questions.

Take a basic sailing course this summer.
Get a basic book about sailing, and a book about sail boats. "The Annapolis Book of Seamanship" is one good one for learning to sail, and Don Casey's "Good Old Boat" is great for all kinds of diy jobs. You'll find other useful books as well, but I'd start with those.
You've taken on quite a learning curve. It can work out really well if you acquire the knowledge you need as you go. It can be a source of frustration and regret otherwise.
