Just thought I'd post a couple pictures of my icebox lids because I can't figure out how to remove them. The only attachments look to be bolts without any pattern to remove them (no wrench or screwdriver).

These are on my 95 Venezia and they seem pretty standard for a few years on these boats. I haven't tried the manufacture yet, but that's my next step.

Is that round piece a cap/plug covering a screw? Have you tried to pry it out?

That would have been the most logical thing to do, right?? But unfortunately I didn't even touch one of those cap/cover things...and now I've already left the boat.

Thanks for the suggestion and I'm a little disappointed that I hadn't already done that. Never occurred to me that they might be covers or caps - will be the first thing I check when I get back.

don't until you have checked from the back and underneath. Those look like embeded nuts not screws.

I have never heard of embedded nuts....I will have to look them up. Of course, I've never seen anything like them before period. And checking from the back and underneath might be impossible, but we'll give it a look see - I think they might have built the boat around the ice-box :( ha ha
