Like a lot of people, I have the Northern Freight 7" Polisher-Sander I picked up for around $40. For my needs it does a good job.
However, I really could use a smaller, 4" or so, variable speed unit to get into those tighter spaces around my boat. I don't want a random orbital unit.
I've really searched the web and they are far and few between and cost big bucks.
Anyone know of a small 3-4-5" unit that won't break the bank? I'd like to get exactly what I have now, just smaller.

Thanks guys. I've seen the Griot unit and I'm sure it's good, but I prefer not to have an orbital unit. I really like a variable speed polisher.

The drill is an option, but I prefer a right angle type of polisher. Again, I really like my 7" NF unit - I want the same, just smaller and I just can't seem to find anything like what I want.

Only problem is they get away from cheap in a hurry.

CHENG Concrete Exchange - Kawaii 5" Wet Polisher GWEP150

Max disc 5" but it looks like plenty of space to step down to 4" easily.

Obviously it's a wet polisher, but you wouldn't have to use that option if you didn't want to. I think the other thing, is electric vs air. If you had a compressor setup, I've seen a ton more in that line-up. Again though, takes Cheap out the window :(

I have quite a home and work collection of grinders

A small rotary unit with Variable speed is going to be air as the electric 4" motor would burn out at polishing speeds

And a small Air unit would get in tight corners and be possible to run with a somewhat small compressor
