Hello all,

I am from Salt Lake City, UT. I have been sailing a Laser since I was a pup but have recently been itching for something a bit bigger.

I found a great deal on a great boat (with a busted mast - brace yourselves for questions!). It is a 1975 Columbia Yacht Custom by R.S. Dorris. I am not able to find a lot of info on that particular boat but it appears to have only been in production for 2 years and is sort of a hybrid of a Coronado 15 and Lido 14.

Well, that's my intro. I'm excited to get on Great Salt Lake in a a bigger boat with bigger sails.

Hi Did you buy your Columbia? I bought a Columbia 8.3 model this year, ...The boat is in Lake Pipen MN...I have a bunch of info now will share with you. Thanks Barry
