From one Canuck to another, welcome to SN. Although my boat is located on the east coast, I have family in Calgary, so get there quite often in the off-season. Have never sailed the area, but I know there are a number of Alberta-based sailors on SN, so hopefully a few will chime in.

My son lives in Halifax as he went to Dal and graduated last year. We also got out to PEI last June, gorgeous!! But he wants to move back west. Sailing here has it’s own challenges, like quickly changing wind (speed, direction, temperature). it’s not a “set it and forget it” place to sail. Apparently that is good for me 😎
