Nor'sea 27
I've been watching some of Ben and Teresa's videos from sailing simplicity and then checking out the Nor'sea 27.
From what I can tell they sell for more than double what other boats this size go for, is there anything that sets these apart?

Yes we have a triple axle trailer and no she is not for sale at this time. We put her up for sale to buy a bigger boat for extended family trips. But after several conversations and reflection came to the conclusion that when a larger boat was required it would be more economical to charter one rather own one full time. I'm in the process of adding additional equipment to make sailing a bit easier, dodger, roller furler, maybe lead the lines to the cockpit.Thanks @Skipper Jer. I think that's really wise. It's hard to resist stepping up to a larger boat but honestly I think the 27-30 ft is about perfect size. I love my boat. I've been on Skipper Jer's boat once and it's a nice looking boat. I've been on a couple other aft-cabin versions. Every Nor'sea owner seems to love the boat they have and wouldn't trade it for anything. I guess I would agree. Hey Daniel. Happy birthday! I'm in Destin, FL and after 5 years of being without a boat, the bug has come back and bitten me hard. The Nor'sea has always been one of my favorites but I'm wondering if giving up that extra foot or two in width is worth it for the trailerability, which I may never use. BTW I sent you a PM, thanks for getting back with me.

Hello all. We have a Norsea 27, aft cockpit that we are probably going to be listing for sale in the not too distant future. The trailerability of the boat was huge for the family but now live in Seattle so we are looking at boats with more comfort and loosing that flexibility.
Seems there are a few of these on the market but overall they don't seem to be too plentiful. Do you find that they get snatched up quickly?

I think it depends on price, condition, equipment and location. There are a few for sale in Hawaii, a couple in California and one near me in Annapolis. Our is for sale also, 1992 aft cabin with triple axle trailer. She is in the water in the Solomons Maryland.

I've posted on facebook and mentioned it here and the mail list. Last time we had her for sale I posted in cragslist and sailboatlistings. Got a few lookers who did travel some distance. Had several phone calls. I think the problem is distance. Did get an email recently from someone (Pat I think) who lives in Washington state. He said he would fly across country to see the boat. Maybe he will get in touch with you. And there will be another on the market from Wisconsin (I think) soon. I did offer to sell the boat separate from the trailer.
