I have a northstar 26 with a yanmar 1gm10, open up the stuff box to find not much in it, I'm thinking the seal would be a 1/4". I found it hard to get into the spot to make sure. Has anyone done this?

Yes. I see there is a squre packing and a round one, guessing it's the round one.
