I am in the process of replacing the motoroil on our yanmar 3gm30f.
The manual recommends
1. SAE 15W40
2. API classification CD
Jeg have bought motoroil (Bardahl) with SAE 15W40. On the bottle it say "API/Service SL/CG-4 ACEA A3, B4, E2" and "VW 505.00" and that the oil is suitable for Deutz, Ivesco, Perkins, Yanmar, Lombardini.
Will there be any problems on using this oil even though the API classification aparently is not CD
