old radar dome

hello guys, i have a Raytheon R10 MASTER SCAN radar and i'd like to know if i can use the antenna is already installed on my boat with a more recent dysplay like the RL70 or better (color). My antenna part number is :R10 mod. M8833(9)0.

When I asked Raymarine the same question a few years ago, I was told "No". Apparently they are not compatible.
