Ah...you're probably seeing the lazy jib sheet. My crew doesn't like them lax on the deck.

I tell her to keep it loose in case we need to dump air, and she promptly ignores me.

I'd get new crew, but she's my wife.

That's the lazy sheet caught up on those plastic tubes on the stays.
