With the change in the weather LOTS of boaters are ordering scuba compressors for on board use. Unfortunately, most have been told by "experts" that the painted version is just fine and the stainless steel frame is a waste of money.

If you are thinking of ordering a compressor for that Spring/Summer trip, please re-think painted steel in a sea air environment. I am lazy and I really don't like handling calls about "rust all over my teak deck!"

And, if you have to get a painted one, please wash and wax well. Oh ... and if you get rust stains on your decks ... lose my number! :D
