I managed to get an AutoHelm ST3000. It is broken, but from the sounds of it, I think I just need to replace the brushes and the drive motor should work again. I'm having trouble, though, prying up the tabs that hold the motor closed. I know I can cut them off, but then I won't be able to put the motor back together again. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to lift the tabs? Or, alternatively, suggestions on how to close the motor again? I'm afraid that epoxy will crack from all the vibrations it will experience in that environment.

Another option is to replace the entire motor, but so far I haven't been able to find specifications for it.
