Anyone know where I can go about connecting in an oil take-off and return to the oil system of my perkins 4.108. I want to run the oil through a simple heat exchanger oil cooler.

As an aside should I use the seawater feed before the main heat exchanger or after it to cool the oil? My little old donkey only runs at around 90 degrees C so it would appear that the cooling water is not having to work too hard.

Before anyone asks ....... I'm fitting the cooler because the oil pressure gets too low when the engine is hot and you come back to idle........ I know it's not ideal but the poor old lump has about 8000 hard fought hours on it and the replacement engine I have is 2000 miles from the boat. I just want to stretch the life a l i t t l e more until I can get the boat and the new engine into the same location :)
