Ive inherited this boat but I dont have a clue as to anything about it. Please help with any info yall know about it... id greatly appreciate it.
Its 8 foot long. Im attempting to post pics but I can email them to you if you can help.

I don't recognize it. Look on the inside and outside of the transom (back). There should be a number, like the vehicle ID on a car. The first few characters are a manufacturer's code. Google can probably help you from there. If you plan to sail it, start close to shore in light winds and warm water. If you haven't sailed before, read up on the basics first. Good luck with it.

Wow. That looks like an oldie! Most likely pre 1972 so no hull identification number anywhere.
Your boat is "cat" rigged; notice how the mast is all the way forward with no room for a jib sail.
I wonder if there is a number or logo on the sail?
There may also be an embossed logo either on the forward deck or near the transom seat.
In any event, it should be fairly easy to sail, given only the single main sail, and it should be fairly stable (not likely to capsize) due to the wide-ish hull.
