All, My First Post!!

I need to remove the hazy portlights on New Horizons and replace them with opening ports.....there is about a half inch gap between the deck molding and the interior liner. Does anyone have any thoughts on the best way to
fill that gap, or is epoxy sealed plywood, pretty much my only solution.

Thanks for the suggestions!!

I'd see about getting a 1/2 inch thick sheet of plastic starboard King StarBoard, or something similar, and just cut appropriate shaped trim ring inserts. I think the original ports on that boat are sort of long, are you going to have to shrink the openings?

There are a couple of models out there that are slightly larger than
the existing portlights. Plan on getting some of those for the saloon, the ones in the forecabin/head area are normal sized, so will not be an issue.
Thanks for the starboard idea!
