This electric block is in the v-birth.
Any idea what it does?
Boat is german made Dehler 29 2021
The wires at the bottom are just loops. Two loops where both ends enter the block.

It looks like one of the (brown?) wires has a yellow identifier on it. Can you check behind your breaker panel and find its companion and which breaker it's connected to?

I'm going to guess and say nav lights.

Relay of some sort...
4 grounded neutrals (Blue) 4 positive ( brown) can' t tell for sure but the bottom likes like a looped positive and I'm assuming the 3 b/w and the orange are control wires. Control a device from 2 input sources.

Looks like the Number on the wire is #13 .. What's circuit #13 ?

Windlass or Bow Thruster would be my guess as well.

Looks like a terminal block for all the low voltage 12v wiring... nav lights, windlass switch (maybe)... fan (maybe)... USB charging port (maybe)...

It's going to be interesting to hear what it's for. There are twelve wires on that block, not including the jumpers. Not sure why either a bow thruster or windlass would need so many. My theory was something that was on the same circuit, with several appliances (ie lights)

I have no bow thruster. The windless was replaced and the guy who did it did not mess with that block.
The only thing left is cabin lights and nav lights.
It seems like a lot of wires for nav lights. I think I will count the cabin lights and see if I can figure it out.
I have a separate switch for forward, center, and aft lights. I'm thinking this is the distribution hub for the forward cabin lights.
I'm afraid to mess with it as it is working.

You can and probably should identity where the wires go. Disconnect one and try each light to see if they work. Repeat until you have identified what each wire does. Put a VOM and determine which wires are pos and which are neg. Label everything or make a drawing or both.

Start wiggling wires and follow it out. Can't be to difficult. Well maybe. Some boat wiring is pretty strange......

Suspense. When are we going to learn the answer? A multi meter on the incoming power and playing with the breakers would do it, if that yellow tag doesn't.

To me this looks like a trivial and easily solved mystery.

It's going to take a while as my wife is using that cabin for a few days and I don't want to take a chance of breaking something. I'm almost certain it is the four cabin lights.
