Hi everyone. New guy here. ran a search, didn't find much, sorry if this is a silly question:

How do I figure out a fair price for a 1993 Expo Solar Sailer? Pertinent info: I am going to be selling one, it's mom and dad's and goes with a trailer. Being a car and motorcycle guy I am familiar with NADA but apparently this little boat is rare enough to not be listed. Are there any online resources I can check?

The boat is in decent but not perfect shape and is in NJ at the beach.

I have one, there were less than 200 made from what I've found. Not much info out there as you've seen. It's a collector's item, I'd keep it.

It's a cat-rig, free standing carbon fiber mast, furling main, inboard electric engine with solar charging... Hoyt boom, inspired the Alerion 19 (people like big boats on this site might recognize that name). Perfect trailer sailor for local lakes. Main furled around free standing boom, just step and launch. She's a pudgy little girl, 13' long and 6' wide, not a racer.

I traded an SJ21 valued at about $4K, the Expo was in very rough shape. If anything happened to her I'd drive several hours and pay twice+ that to replace. "Fair price" for one in decent shape is probably $5K, which is why I suggest keeping it. It's worth far more.

Expo Solar Sailer sailplan?

Greetings, Ive just found a tired Expo Sailer without a sail. The sail databases dont seem to have this boat, TPI had no info- so I need the sail dimensions - Im hoping the Catalina Expo 14.2 sail will fit as it is a reasonably priced stock sail, Just about the same rig and SA, but not sure if it will work? Anyone have the ESS sail dimensions? Pete Neises?

Don't know if anyone still looks here, but I have an EXPO in great shape. I mean it looks like new !!
Getting too old (79 ) to step the mast. I also put 6 HP Johnson on it. Would sell $5000. With trailer. Long Island NY
