Question about keeping a Car at a Marina

1508 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Advocate777
If you liveaboard...and before you sail off you are working one last year and keep a car at your home base marina to drive to work.....before you give that car to a family member and sail away....does the marina charge you to keep your car there? If so, anyone know the average rate if the marina is on the Chesapeake, say, the north chesapeake (rock hall and north?)

The slip rental fees vary substantially in Chesapeake Bay, depending upon the marina and the amenities it provides. Some charge for keeping a vehicle on the premises, while others consider it part of your slip fee. Way too many variables to put a medium price tag upon. Best bet is to call each of the marinas where you may be thinking about keeping the boat.

Good Luck,
