We are going to insulate under the master bunk. We have some 1"
insulation that is of the dense foam type and foil like side. We got it
at the marine store. They recommended 3M Super 77 Multipurpose Adhesive
for attaching it. Has any one had experience with the 3M – 77? Will it
hold this foam on an overhead position, such as floor boards? Some
places we may not have the option of using the fiscal attachments for
helpers to hold the foam in place.
Thanks
Chip

We use the 77 spray can stuff at work to bond rubber to metal

I will tell you using 77 spray it is a bit nasty in a confined space(respator required)and you will need to look out for over spray as it is NOT EASY to remove from your self or other nice things

The big draw back is how strong the skin is on what ever it is your glueing down as we find a lot of softer rubbers have skins that tear pretty easy

I would say in general it is the best thing we have found other than some really high cost stuff like BLACK-MAX which we use when we want a forever bond
