Hi All,
This question is for those of you who have installed a radar pole on the back of your boat (or watched it being installed). I have a new Seaview radar pole (3") with the universal base. I was gathering all the pieces and pre-drilling the dome plate etc., when I got to thinking. Do I install this thing while the boat is in the water to get it level (like we did the mast when stepping it) or can I do it on the hard (as I thought I was going to do)? The only adjustments I will have for the pole are for and aft. Right and left is set with the base when I drill it onto the transom... so it's a one shot deal.
Any thoughts on this? Thanks.
Dave
