gedaggett,
We have decided to overhaul our Ranger 29 and I am going to be posting pics of the progress and some thoughts on the project. The boat is 1 of 9 in our lease share fleet and is a true Plastic Classic. The Ranger 29 is a Gary Mull design and a very formidable boat. I personally believe she is one of the toughest boat under 30 feet that still has good performance.
Basically we are striping down the topsides and replacing any old and worn parts. We are simplifying her deck hardware and want to keep her very sleek and simple. We will be adding some self tailing winches and replacing some teak, adding new aluminum toe rails and a few other items like stanchion bases and life lines. She should be a really pretty boat when we are done.
