Just wondering whether this smaller version has digits that would be easily visible mounted on the exterior cabin wall (in the cockpit) on my 24' Columbia Challenger....i guess 5-6 feet away...thanks

I just installed an i40 in my boat. I have no problem seeing it from 5-6' away.

wondering what transducer you purchased....i don't want to use a transom mount but i see they have both a thru-hull and an angled in-hull...hope you

I used the in-hull transducer for my uncored hull. It won't work through a core. I also somehow ordered a version of the transducer with the wrong connector. Easily resolved by splicing the connection, but better to get the right one in the first place.
