We have a Morgan 366 with a worn-out cabin sole. We would like to refurbish it, without sanding since the teak layer is very thin. Any suggestions on chemically removing the top coat, as well as the products to use for recovering the sole. Thanks

what do you mean by worn out? Is the teak/holley worn and you to replace or do they just need refinishing.

The sole just needs cleaning then refinishing. I am looking for what products to use and how to go about it.

Ahhh, grunt work. The cabin sole in Xanadu is oak with teak accent. I recently (last fall) stripped it with jabsco paint remover, sanded with 120 grit wet/dry, then applied Deks Olje teak oil (matte finish). Four of us live aboard, so the finish had to withstand a considerable amount of traffic. I''m quite pleased with the results, though I still get flashbacks from the jabsco vapors!
