Replacement Buttons for Cushions

We are cleaning the interior cushions from our 1987 Pearson 31-2 this spring and while we are at it, we want to repair the three cushion buttons that have lost their fabric covers. The attached picture is an original button with the fabric cover still in place. I believe this style button is called a half ball cover button - it consists of two parts, a flat base, and a rounded cover - the fabric is laid over and tucked under the cover, then the cover is pressed onto the base. I can only find cheap brass buttons in the fabric stores, does anyone have any idea where the plastic originals or something similar can be found?

And I' m afraid that is the situation as the Sailrite site lists only the same cheap button kits sold by the local fabric shops. A local marine upholstery specialist says she can redo all buttons with similar plastic button so the plan is to give her the cushions and pay.
In case anyonelse has this need, I came across a supplier of buttons which appear to be identical to the original buttons used by Pearson in 1987:
Nylon Super Hooks With Rust Resistant Caps, Button Molds, Upholstery Buttons, #30 7/8" Threaded Nail, #30 Dura Snap Button from Rochford Supply - Your Online Textile and Upholstery Superstore!

So the button replacement has been added to the winter to-do list.
