Any one here have know age of a safe anchorage in Haiti? I will be there waiting for an arrival of a crew member for about a week; thanks gary

Go to freecruisingguides.com, a good haiti cruising guide there.
Haiti a big country, lots of good anchorages, from what i read/heard stay away from port a prince.

If your in the north.... Labadee... Not easy to get there by land though. Or Skip over to Luperon Dominican Republic. I'm in north Haiti and will bring my boat here in a month or so. Until then, it's in Luperon. If your still hooked on north Haiti, try Fort Liberte. It's quieter than Cap Haitian. As BV66 said... Check out freecruisingguides.com they talk about other safe harbors in the south.
