Glad to see those nice folk at SA have made a joke out of this!

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but just because you are charging along with your horn blowing doesn't mean your schedule is more important than hitting a yacht?
If the Sow and Pigs reef were so close, WTF was the ferry doing there in the first place?
So, unless exhibiting relevant signals or local bye-laws refer, the right of way vessel was the obviously in difficulty yacht in the prevailing condition, even if not, then stand on vessel should be prepared to stop or alter course to avoid collision? Close to tragedy, bad seamanship methinks by ferry Capt.
