Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know of a place that will rent a trailer that can tow a 25ft swing keel o day in the NY NJ CT area? additionally does anyone own a trailer like this that would be willing to rent it out for a day for a couple hundred dollars? thank you.

Is the boat in the water or on a cradle? If on a cradle, then rent a flat bed trailer and have it lifted onto the flat bed. If it is not far then I think it is likely just as cheap to call a boat mover. Check the local boating magazines, for instance "Boating on the Hudson" has a few listed in the services section.

renting boat trailers is problematical

I loaned mine to a neighbour and asked him not to dunk it but to get his boat craned off and into the water by the local boat yard

two weeks after he used it he proudly showed me some snaps of launching his new to him boat

there was my new to me trailer deep in the water - electrics, brakes, bearings the lot

I understand that it often happens - "not mine... so I can abuse it"

I think your best option is to contact a boat mover or a yard with a hydraulic trailer to have them pick it and move it. Like this....
