On our current cruise this week, we've used the ipad as back up Nav, movie player with cable to TV, music payer with Bluetooth connection to speaker, anchor alarm, email, weather briefer, radar for storm that came by last night, text message kids, restaurant reviews and, of course, sailnet.
Finally, 5 minutes ago I googled the local package store to see if it opens before I plan to pull anchor. I need more beer. ��
