Greetings from Utah.

I have been lurking here a long time, and things are starting to get serious :D I have long wanted to learn to sail, and now I am going to do something about it!

I have made first contact with the Bonneville School of Sailing and Seamanship, and for a mere $85 they will take me and the wife on a romantic 2 hour sunset cruise around Utah Lake. (Part of me is hoping for a little weather hehe) If it doesn't make either of us violently ill, I plan on taking their courses (tried to link to their web page but I can't because I'm new -DISCRIMINATION!!!) Bonneville School of Sailing and Seamanship and becoming like some of the mad fools I see here telling tales of 50 knot winds and 40 foot seas :)

Hey flu - welcome to SN dude. I too am sailing in what is quickly becoming high desert (Texas).

You'll have a blast on that trip. Have fun and let us know how it goes.

Sincerely,

One of the Mad Fools (heh-heh)
