Hi everyone,
Im a Product Design student based in scotland and i'm using my final year project to look at products for the sailing market that make life easier, safer or more comfortable for users, Im particularly interested in clothing and safety equipment, eg, Oilskins, mid layers, lifejackets, MOB recovery systems etc.
Im currently looking into what opinions are surrounding current kit and what people would like to see in the future.
So... with that in mind,
Whats the one piece of kit you wouldn't go out without?
What sort of safety equipment do you use ordinarily (not bad weather)? Lifejacket, buoyancy aid, tether, none?
If none, why not?
What about in bad weather?
If you could add/change anything on your sailing clothing what would it be?
In your opinion, (can be anything) what would make being out on the water (for you);
Safer?
More comfortable?
Easier?
those questions are just guides, id be interested to hear any opinions you have!
Thanks,
Fraser
