Hello,

My name is Titus, and I am going to be in San Diego (staying at Sheraton on Harbor Island) from January 13-16. I was wondering if I could meet up with anyone that would want to take me on an afternoon sailing trip. I would gladly pitch for any costs. I just want to have a fun day sailing. I am traveling for business with very few restraints and a wide-open schedule. I am from Missouri with lake sailing experience.

If you want someone to take you, rather than a bareboat rental, there are usually a number of choices. Last time I was out there, there were several who sailed out of charter island and shelter island. If you are at the Sheraton HI, take a walk around the marina and look for signs. Or ask the concierge. They may advertise themselves as whale watching cruises (I don't recall when the season is for that.)
