Last year I replaced all my hose for the head accept the section from the discharge seacock to the vented loop. I held off since the old hose was very hard to get off and I did not want to risk damaging the seacock while the boat was in the water. The boat is going to be pulled in the next month for bottom painting, so it is time to complete the job.

The question becomes is there a special type of hose to use for this critical section? If other parts of the system fail I will have a smelly mess, but if the section in question fails the boat can sink. I used the best Sealand hose for the rest, the thick white stiff stuff.
