Dear folks, I want to install a SCAD Solo Tank Monitor on our Holding tank. It looks like the forward face of the tank is just fiberglass (no plywood). Is that correct 'cause this monitor does not like working through plywood.

Many thanks and happy spring to all, Jay

Jay,
not sure what you are referring to, but I didn't think any holding tanks on P37's were fiberglass? Mine is poly, and the only face I can get at is the aft end under the V berth. I believe the SCAD system would work fine with that.
I would be interested in your results, as I need to install some sort of holding tank monitor too.

Thanks, Paul.
Does the poly holding tank on your boat (or others out there) have a plywood top held down with LOTS of screws like the two water tanks? Our holding tank has such a lid and I can see only fiberglass sides.
