Environmentally its progress.... Nowadays we dont kill as many sea critters. We are saving the critters on our hulls! And spending more to do so. Arn't we good 
BTW I dont know if Tin Booster worked on my boat. It was a very short life and I was hoping for multi year with 7 coats on the leading edges. Ablative.
