Dear all,
I'm new to this forum, but I'm not new to Seafarer
We have Polaris 26 for almost 10 years,
boat's name is Rozita which is my grandmother's name.
We are currently in process of refurbishing the boat,
so I would appreciate any help!
The most important thing what I would like to deal with are sails and sailing experience.
I started with optimists, laser had sailed on 470 and last 7 years I sailed many other sailboats from 26 to 56 feet (usually newer boats).
Thing is that Polaris 26 is really slow boat in my point of view and since we are to refurbish it I was wondering can we somehow improve sailing experience.
All in all I don't want to put a great deal of money and time in this project,
an to stay on the same level of sailing as before. I understand she will never be so quick like new boats, but I wanted to hear your experience of sailing compering it with newer boats.
Best regards
Ivan from Croatia
