I'm looking hard at a 91 Catalina 36 for sale.
If you have one and are proud of her, please show off what you've done to make her yours. Inside and out.

I hope to also see an example of the transom. The one I'm looking at only has a couple insufficient pics of the transom that only barely show that it is walk-through. I can't tell if there is any swim platform to speak of.

It's not really a swim platform, more of a step. It is really nice if you back into a dock and walk on and off the boat. It also makes a step to use if getting someone out of the water. Instead of climbing up over the transom, you walk onto the cockpit sole. Nice after a swim or getting out of a dingy.

Yes, I agree. More of a step than a full on swim platform. I actually like that better. Some of those swim platforms seem like they're designed for a place to hang out and relax, taking up a lot of valuable cockpit/ aft cabin space. I don't see us using a swim platform for hanging out.
