I replaced my wheel steering on my Alberg 35 with a tiller and in the process removed the pedestal mounted engine throttle and shift controls, so I now have to add new engine controls in the cockpit. I'm looking at a Single lever type control where your shifting and throttle are integrated into one lever but I'm not sure if these controls will work with my engine.

The controls I'm looking at are The Teleflex/Morse CH2100 (Morse CH2100 Side Mount)

My engine is a mid 1980's Westerbeke W21

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That particular single lever control has been available for the last 40 years. The reason that it has lasted in production for so long is that it just plain works.
It is easy to set up and you can expect it to last a long time.

Be careful when you cut the hole in the side of your cockpit. The cut out provided in the manual looks wrong but it is absolutely correct.

Have fun,
Stanley

This control is adjustable for different transmissions so you should not have any problems. They are widely used for Hurth/ ZF, PRM, Technodrive, Borg Warner Velvet Drive etc.
