I''m kind of new to this sailing thing (and loving it) but I was wondering if there is any solor equipment out there for sailboats.

There are many solar items out there. Mostly they will be solar panels for charging and maintaining your batteries. And of course there are the solar heated showers.

What kind of solar devices are you looking for?

Just looking in general for solor or wind powered items for helping to run all equipment on board - shower would be great. Anything else that might help run laptops, phones, lights, refrigerator, etc. Anything online? I tried a yahoo search but couldn''t find anything except a portable panel for the laptop. Thanks for any info you give.

defender, west, boatus, jackrabbit marine, and ebay all sell various solar panels and wind/water generators. Most charge a battery and you run devices off said battery.
