Lettuce Lake in Pompano, you can anchor either side of the canal. You get some wakes, especially on weekends but there is a park you can tie the dink up to just inside the inlet on the east side and then it's a 3 minute walk to the beach. There's also a good little restaurant and a laundry within a block.
