Sailors transiting Long Island Sound has passed by the Stepping Stone Lighthouse. One of the helpful historical structures on that body of water that helps guide sailors around the treacherous rocks that lie south of it. IMO would be a shame to lose it and have it replaced by a simple metal tower.
