I don't own a Fairclough cover; I am not an expert.
I have heard that they don't shed snow; you have to go out after a storm and knock the snow off. Even 6" of snow is a lot of weight; if it half melts and then freezes again, you've got a real heavy mess that is going to accumulate more snow.
Nothing sheds the snow like a shrink wrapped boat, but I hate the waste involved in throwing it out every spring.
