With the highs in the lower 30's and lows around 10-20 it feels like it will never get warm enough to paint. I had hoped to be in the water in a couple-three weeks. Most folks around here (MI) like to be in by good friday. I dont see that happening this year.

It is 84 deg with a gentle breeze at lat. 09N you are just 35 deg of lat. too far north.

Maybe your chart plotter needs recalibrating!

That "date" can vary quite a bit from year to year. Easter is the first Sunday following the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox.

We are usually in by the "Queen's Birthday" - 24th of May weekend. Not going to happen this year. More snow forecast for Saturday.

Be lucky to get in by mid June!
