Well, I've gone and done it - despite reams of sensible advice to the contrary, I am under contract to purchase a boat, subject to survey. :)

While aware of the SAMS website, I was wondering if any SNer's out there had experience, either good or bad, with particular surveyors in the St. Pete/Tampa Bay area. If so, I'd appreciate your advice and feedback.

Public comment here or PM me as you think best. Thanks!

Bump - nearly 200 views, but nary a post. Has no one here used a surveyor, or heard a reputable report on one, in Tampa Bay?

If not, any opinions on whether it is generally better to go with a NAMS or a SAMS accredited surveyor?

Thanks in advance....

You might contact Mike Davenport at 941-366-0888. He did some satisfactory work for us on an insurance survey and might meet your requirements.

FWIW...
