Did anyone catch The Simpsons last night?

Bart and Homer went sailing on the Relation Ship, a counseling session / tall ship experience.

The captain's name was Bowditch :) and they showed some good knots, including the "if you can't tie a knot, tie a lot" cleat hitch.

In the end they were caught in a large storm with a drunk captain and Bart sailed them to safety.

If only Bart Simpson had been captain of the Bounty…

I was thrilled that the writers were smart enough to call it a halyard cleat. Compare that to the stupidity of the movie "all is lost". Were there any sailing errors in the Simpsons at all?

Years ago one of the sailing mags had an article about bad knots and called that one the 'halyard happenstance knot'.
